My daughter needs to have Parathyroid surgery, however,it was just determined that the gland affected is in the chest cavity. CT scan to be Tues, 5/2/06, hoping for more exact location. She is in the Detroit MI area. Debating on going elsewhere for this more complicated surgery. Possibly to Tampa FL. Dr. James Howard . Has anyone had this surgery, or know of anyone  that's had it?
