I was experiencing PROFOUND fatigue prior to my diagnosis of acromegaly secondary to a pituitary tumor. My life was alot like yours - slept 8 hours at night followed by a 3-4 hour "nap". When I was not sleeping, I was thinking of sleeping and planning when I could get some more sleep. Things have improved since my surgery 12/04, but I still have issues with fatgue though nothing like I had before surgery.
