Well, I had my MRI last Friday. I'm large and talked to the MRI nurse earlier in the week about my concerns about fitting in the machine. She said depends how "squishy" you are..lol. Well, I found out she wasn't kidding - I was stuffed so tight in the machine (up to my waist) that my fingers went numb. I'm not claustauphobic but boy was I glad when it was over. I did get headphones tuned into my favorite radio station and a panic button to press. I did have contrast and the test lasted about 40 min. The neurosurgeon said he'd call me with the results within 10 days, now I'm anxiously waiting for the phone call. Debbie |
