Hi, Has any taken the cosyntropin stimuation test for checking the cortisol levels. I am trying to find information about this test. I took the test and my levels came back low and now my endo wants to put me on Prednisone (forever). After reading the side effects of Prednisone I am very concern so I want to make sure this is the best route. I do not have any symptoms of low cortisol and my drs' says this is the course of action. I plan on looking for alternative medicine to help me through this situation. Thanks! |
