Honestly, I don't think that dostinex is any better. I started dostinex last Friday, and I was so nauseated that I couldn't eat until Tuesday. I have lost 4 pounds. I take the medicine again today, and I am afraid the same thing might happen. I think the dostinex also gave me headaches, and altered my sense of time. A day seems like an hour to me. Anyway, you have to do what you have to do, which is take your meds. The good news is that the side effects are usually temporary. Maybe you should give the bromocriptine a chance; if it doesn't agree with you, then opt for the dostinex. I will keep you in my prayers.
