Hi Allison, I also recently had a mammogram (my first!) come back abnormal, an ultrasound that found a cyst, and (to quote the radiologist's report) "very prominent ducts." According to my endo, this is nothing to worry about, and they've scheduled me for followups every six months from now on -- apparently my ducts are prominent because my prolactin levels are always slightly elevated. So...I'm guessing we shouldn't be too worried about it (ha! like that's going to stop us -- breast issues are so intensely scary) but I think it's really great that your doc is sending you for an MRI to be especially sure it's all OK.
