Hi Kim, I'm happy to report that everything is ok. After an MRI, and a breast biopsy, 3 ducts and one cyst, the pathology report came back negative for cancer. They were a result of my Prolactoma. ( the ducts). I don't think my radiologist had encountered anyone before with a prolactoma, I guess that's why I had the MRI, and biopsy. I guess I was a learning experience for Her, she said I;m in her teaching file. I'm glad it's all over, that was the scariest time of my whole life!!!! I hope that anyone else who is facing a similar situation, will find comfort in knowing that women with Prolactomas will have different images on their mammograms, ultasounds, and MRI. That the milk ducts will look odd, and have gunk in them. It does'nt mean to dismiss any abnormal findings, and if their is any doubt other tests should be done. Knowing this may help while you wait for the results, and may ease your mind. Thank you all for responding, I told my radiologist about this site, and of the responses I received.
