You know MRIs are not perfect and I would guess that the tumor is making the gland look interesting. I personally would not worry about it but then again I have already went through it. You could always have a specialist like a Neurosurgeon or a radiologist that specializes in reading Pit tumors look at and see through their eyes. Please keep in mind not all Radiologists are proficient at reading these things. Our glands are very small. My last MRI did not show a dumbbell shape but just a gland with a tumor on it!
