What position does that leave us in as patients??? I am on the birth control patch continuously throughout the month without a break due to my symptoms. I personally still have periods even on the patch. I know I am one of the weird ones and would gladly trade places with one of you who does not menstruate!!! I do just fine and every single endo I have seen has actually encouraged me to stay on it and I have no desire to go off of it!!!! Just another perspective. My opinion is, if you need to be on it like me to control symptoms please do! Oh, after surgery one of my doctors strongly said I needed to remain on (as if I would go off) to prevent me from going into early menopause which would complicate my recovery.
