----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on Pituitary Chat
----------------------------------------------------------- From: PTResearcher2 Message 2 in Discussion Hi there, I am sorry that your daughter is going through this, she is so young. I would advise that you consult a neurosurgeon that specializes in pituitary surgery. Nystagmus (uncontrolled rapid eye movement) is not something that should be ignored. When was her last MRI? She should have another MRI to see if the tumor is pressing on her optic nerve. You need to have an experienced pituitary surgeon review her scans and determine if surgery is needed. I would definitely prioritize this because the tumor could cause further damage to her eyes. Please consult a neurosurgeon asap, this is out of an endocrinologists field of expertise. Please take care. Your daughter will be in my prayers.
