Shahinian works miracles!!!!!! My endo just told me last Friday that everyone
she treats with our local neurosurgeon (who is rated top 3 in the Nation) comes
back to her with "a lot of deficiencies." I started out with deficiencies and
guess what???? Against all odds even my GH levels are normal!!! They were not
normal even on injectable GH-:) My eye sight came back very quick. My eye
specialist told me it would take between 1 to 1 1/2 years to come back. It took
6 weeks-:) Shahinian is the BEST!!!!! Have you ever noticed that the only
people who criticize him are ones that did not have their surgery done by him?
LOL!!!!! so pleased to hear you are also doing so well!!!!

HUGS,
Tina

I waited too long to have my surgery and it left me with partial blindness in
my left eye from the tumor pressing on my optic nerve too long. A small price
to pay in exchange for a lot of the horror stories I read on these posts. I was
fortunate to find Dr. Shahinian and he got all the tumor out. I have had clean
MRI's since 2005 and have not been on any drugs since then either. My life is
back to normal and after reading all the posts I think it's a crime that some
doc's out there are still using old techniques and leaving people crippled
because they don't want to go back to school and learn to use the latest
advances. I rarely post but I'd hate to see such a young person not be given
the chance for a productive life. Do your research and find the right doc. For
example, the first thing my endo said as I walked into her office after my
surgery was I was going to be on drugs for the rest of my life. I said we'll
see about that and I had to argue with her to give my pit gland a chance to
recover, if there was a chance, and thank God it did start functuing again and
I now have noraml blood tests and feel good. I no longer need her ( endo) in my
life....In the beginning I went through 2 other surgeons and was scheduled for
surgery but backed out both times until I felt right about my doc. There's
hope, you just have to dig to find the right doc...I hope the best and will
pray you are led in the right direction...
