I believe that it is caused by the hormonal imbalance caused by the pit tumor. I write everything down and have post-its everywhere! I could not live without post-its! My memory became so bad in the past 6-7 years, that I had to stop reading for pleasure because I would forget what I had just read. I now listen to books on cd (and forget them too, but it's not as frustrating.) I used to be an avid reader. I now read only to research and I have to take notes, even on research on the internet. I have gotten used to it, although it was very frustrating when I started losing my short-term memory. Take care.
