----------------------------------------------------------- From: ChiaChoctaw Message 3 in Discussion Yes, I have heard that as well. A man in the UK sued b/c he gambled all his money away while on Bromocriptine. The drug company settled out of court. My husband suffered from hypersexuality, aggression, parnoia and only needed about 4 hours of sleep each night. He was fairly normal during the day, but around 6:00pm each night turned into a completely different person. This is the psychosis part of the ordeal. By the time he had been on bromocriptine for 1 month, he was sleeping in the car and had I continued the meds, I gaurantee you, he would have started living on the streets or killed us all. I was terrified. Once we stopped the meds, he returned to the person he always was. Not one endocrinologist will say it was the medicine, even though there is that indication of psychosis etc. on the patient insert that comes with the meds. They recommended marriage counseling. I have no confidence in the medical community as a whole. My husband was told he "had" to have surgery. The endo now says that no surgery is ever good for a macroadenoma like he had. Who do you believe? The surgery certainly wasn't successful. So we still medicate. He has been on Quinagolide for about 8 months now. I think the Testosterone is making him angry and hypersexual now.
