Hi, everyone.

I'm new to the boards, here. Thanks to everyone for the fascinating insight
you've given me by being so willing to share your stories.

I basically collapsed in a Walgreen's yesterday with "cramps" so bad I could
barely breathe. (I had hobbled in, clutching my abdomen with the intention of
buying some Extra-Strength Tylenol. Ha ha.) The pharmacists called the
paramedics. Many hours, IVs, strong drugs, and a CAT scan later, I was told I
have a large ovarian cyst.

I was diagnosed with prolactinoma about 5 years ago.

Stuff is starting to make sense. Over the years, I have experienced lactation,
incredibly irregular periods, increased acne, unbeliveable bloating, steady
weight gain (despite a healthy diet and regular, rigorous exercise), fatigue,
digestion problems (two colonoscopies and an endoscopy with inconclusive
results) and I think I may have miscarried a couple years ago.

Does this sound like prolactinoma growth? Or prolactinoma complications to
anyone else? I've got an ultrasound scheduled for Monday to check out the cyst.
After that, it's time for another MRI.

I'm just writing to say that today has been kind of an awakening for me,
largely because I'm reading everyone's posts. I'm starting to believe that all
these "mysterious" health problems are totally pituitary-related. I hope I
don't sound like a ding-a-ling -- I mean, I haven't related all this stuff
before.

Thanks. Any thoughts or advice are greatly appreciated.
