I have been on bromocriptine for 3 1/2 months.  I agree with everyone else on 
here...it is some really awful stuff in the beginning.  I had a laundry list of 
side effects, like acne, difficulty concentrating, weakness, dizziness, rapid 
heartbeat, etc.  

I thought the worst of it was over, but I got the flu last week.  I took some 
Mucinex and it caused 3 days of bloody noses.  All of the side effects came 
back while I was sick.  I had to crawl from my bed to the bathroom, because I 
was so weak and dizzy.  I could barely stand long enough to take a shower.  

The good news is that I got my period back about a month ago and my endo says 
that we should go ahead and try to have kids.  In 3 1/2 months, the 
Bromocriptine reduced my prolactin level from 525 to 2.9.  No, it is not a 
typo...it is at 2.9.  My doctor said that a range from 3-30 was normal.  I have 
been kind of shaky and I wonder if it is from too low of a prolactin level.
