----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on Pituitary Chat
----------------------------------------------------------- From: klw20088 Message 12 in Discussion I have been on bromocriptine for 3 1/2 months. I agree with everyone else on here...it is some really awful stuff in the beginning. I had a laundry list of side effects, like acne, difficulty concentrating, weakness, dizziness, rapid heartbeat, etc. I thought the worst of it was over, but I got the flu last week. I took some Mucinex and it caused 3 days of bloody noses. All of the side effects came back while I was sick. I had to crawl from my bed to the bathroom, because I was so weak and dizzy. I could barely stand long enough to take a shower. The good news is that I got my period back about a month ago and my endo says that we should go ahead and try to have kids. In 3 1/2 months, the Bromocriptine reduced my prolactin level from 525 to 2.9. No, it is not a typo...it is at 2.9. My doctor said that a range from 3-30 was normal. I have been kind of shaky and I wonder if it is from too low of a prolactin level. ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/PituitaryChat/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
