I am so sorry.  Maybe this is the first step of many 
towards healing not only your husband but your relationship as well.  I 
hope he is proactive in his care and really looks for help and treatment.  
My hubby is kind of passive, but I try really hard to help him b/c it is worth 
it not to put my kids through a divorce.  Most men seem to want someone 
there for them when they are ill....maybe he will see your worth and the value 
of the years together and rethink why he has left. 
I wish you the best, for you, your husband and your 
family.
