wow i'm new to this chat room and have been reading everyones stories. i had my
surgery january of 2007 and what a nightmare it turned out to be for me.
Besides the fact that my husband was no support even with a four and ten year
old in the home i was dragging to still do all the housewife duties. Five days
after my surgery the ENT removed stents from both my nostrils i was never even
told they were put in???????????????????????Reguardless the next day thank
goodness my mother stayed to help me.I sneezed two times and started to
hemmorage through my nose and mouth until i passed out with my children
watching. My kitchen was full of blood not a sight for anyone to see. I was
taken to the er and was admitted. When discharged i was told i had one mm scar
tissue. ok so i went home.four days later i was feeling alittle pressure in my
left temple so my dad brought me to the er again. They did a cat scan and found
that i had an 8x10 anerysm and had to do emergency surgery. ( real scary ) i
had 8 coils put in the anerysm. After the surgery i felt good my dad left then
the doctor in the recovery came in to tell me i needed two units of blood and
should have gotten it when i bled days ago. ok that was done.then i find out
that the doctor that did the surgery didnt have my tumor from the surgery
stained and i dont have a pathology report. To say the least i have had so many
ups and downs and just found out i have a sinus disease from the surgery also a
few weeks ago. Also myself and my husband recently split up an dis threatening
to take away my medical insurance. i guess i just want to know if any of this
happened to anyone else and does this disease ever get better?
