Hi Manitobagirl... Im from Dauphin Manitoba!!!

I have been on Bromocriptine, Dostinex and have just started Norprolac. I could
not tolerate the side effects of the bromocriptine and seemed very sensitive to
the Dostinex especially mood and emotional changes. The doctor explained to
me that Dostinex (cabergoline) can effect all the dopamine receptors in the
brain not only the one responsible for prolactin therefore it has a higher
chance of side effects. The Norprolac seems to only affect the dopamine
receptor responsible for prolactin and therefore side effects are alot less
common. I have only been on the pills a little under a week I do notice that
I am very tired and in abit of a fog for the early part of the day I am hoping
after my body adjusts this will go away that and a little stomache upset but so
far nothing that is to hard to handle. I can keep you updated of my progress
if you would like Take Care
Crystal
