----------------------------------------------------------- From: mommyof8 Message 1 in Discussion I just came home from the hospital yesterday for an ectopic pregnancy and three very large ovarian cysts (one the size of a grapefruit which was wrapped around my right fallopian tube and the other two the size of oranges). They had to perform emergency exploratory surgery on me because they did not know what was going on. They kept asking if I had been taking fertility drugs (which I did not) because of the size of the cysts. I told them that I had Acromegaly but of course they were pretty much clueless of what I was talking about. I am absolutely convinced that my tumor caused my cysts to get soooo large and I'm wondering if anyone else has had cysts the size of mine. My ob/gyn was wonderful! He was the only one who understood about my tumor and does think there is probably a connection but he isn't sure what?
