I have the insomnia since switching over to the generic... but no other good
effects... still have memory issues, still have the fatigue, despite the
insomnia, still have the apathy and lack of motivation to get things done.
It's pretty sad that my hormones make me feel like a normal person one day a
month... the day before or the day I get my period. Essentially, I wind up
having to stay awake until I'm extremely exhausted to get any sleep. Then when
I do get sleep, it always seems to be interupted... by my cats, by my husband
and his crazy work schedule, by my son, by my neighbors, you name it, I'm a
light sleeper... so essentially I only get naps, and if I'm fortunate enough
some are lengthy. Sorry I don't really have advice on how to correct this
issue as I haven't had an opportunity to talk with my doctor about it. On the
bright side, I have been losing weight, but I attribute that to changing my
diet to several small meals, better foods and eating to satisfy the hunger
only. (Less sugar, less pasta, less of anything fried... but I don't deny
myself of anything I really want, just stop myself from eating a lot of it in
one sitting... like if my husband wants to bring home a pizza, I'll make a few
small meals out of it... I'm still eating the same portion, but spread it out
over time so as not to stretch my stomache. Lost 18 lbs so far!)
