I went with a different surgeon. What I do know is Dr. Kelley is a board certified neurosurgeon. Dr. Shahinian is a general surgeon, board certified in general and plastic surgery. Both of them use the endoscopic approach. You also need to get an estimate of how much your surgery will cost, both in hospital and surgeon fees, and how much your insurance will pay/reimburse.
