My husband and I grew up in San Diego and have some support there so that is one reason I looked to CA for my surgery. We are staying in a hotel in Santa Monica and have some family and friends in San Diego. I am hoping that all will go well like it did for you. I was just wondering about the not doing anything part and you answered my question well. I also needed someone to reinforce what I have been trying to tell my husband that I will not really be able to do anything for a week or so even if I get to head back home on the Tuesday after surgery. :-) I plan to stay home until released by the doctors and hopefully not over do it at home. That will be the hard part. I am and 35 a home health RN (case manager) and do most of my job in the office, but there is lots of stress and running around in the office. My kids are 8 and 9 and pretty self sufficient and helpful. I appreciate the phone call offer and if I need some more personal advice I will email you back and get it from Amanda if it still okay with you. I will update on how things go when I feel up to it.
