However, all during the years I had it, and even now, I have cysts on my ovaries, fibroids, and very heavy periods. My endo. doc says it's not PCOS though, and I'm not sure why. Perhaps because my testosterone and androgen levels are normal. However, this is hirstuism as well, which sucks! The doc says in my case it was probably genetic, but it seems to me it's all related to the pituitary some how.
