That's a good question - I had assumed that they need some of the
RTLD_GLOBAL type stuff from the new version, but now that I look, it
doesn't look like anything that requires the new version (although I am
by far not a libtool/dlopen guru).  aCaB: do you know why it needs the
versioned dependency?
