Michal, my understanding is that you work on the GUI team?  It's good
to hear you are in favor of this.

Open question for all involved: What do we need to do at a technical
level to fold these source trees together?  Are there any policies
we need to agree upon?

I don't even know where the source for the packagemanager is hosted?
