For the xVM Server and Ops Center projects we are looking at the possibility of setting up a "local" IPS repo hosted on one of our nodes in the customers data center. Currently our controller node only runs on Solaris 10 and Redhat 5. I assume Redhat is out for now. We have been starting to look at what it takes to host the repo on S10 but I wondered if there is anyone else who has already done this. Any pointers would be appreciated.
I know for a start that we would need Python 2.4 compiled for S10. Is this available somewhere? Please reply to me as I am not on this alias.
