I'm currently running OpenSolaris 2008.11 development bits (snv_94 based) and I'm trying to update to latest.
In addition to the default repository at pkg.opensolaris.org I have two other authorities set. One on my local machine and another one out on the internet (http://pkg.lifewithsolaris.jp:10000) When I tried to do a pkg image-update (after updating my SUNWipkg package and entire@) it fails like this: igor:pts/2$ pfexec pkg refresh --full igor:pts/2$ pkg version 71eab3488987 igor:pts/2$ pfexec pkg image-update -v Creating Plan /pkg: image-update failed (inventory exception): No matching package could be found for the following FMRIs in any of the catalogs for the current authorities: pkg:/[EMAIL PROTECTED],5.11-0.86:20080813T075312Z Okay so do I have that package locally ? igor:pts/2$ pfexec pkg list LWS\* NAME (AUTHORITY) VERSION STATE UFIX LWSa52dec (lws) 0.7.4-0.86 installed u--- LWSfaac (lws) 1.26-0.86 installed u--- LWSfaad2 (lws) 2.6.1-0.86 installed u--- LWSffmpeg (lws) 0.4.9-0.86 installed u--- LWSgoom (lws) 2004.0-0.86 installed u--- LWSlame (lws) 3.97-0.86 installed u--- LWSlibcddb (lws) 1.3.0-0.86 installed u--- LWSlibcdio (lws) 0.80-0.86 installed u--- LWSlibdvdnav (lws) 0.1.10-0.86 installed u--- LWSlibdvdread (lws) 0.9.7-0.86 installed u--- LWSlibid3tag (lws) 0.15.1-0.86 installed u--- LWSlibmad (lws) 0.15.1-0.86 installed u--- LWSlibmpeg2 (lws) 0.5.1-0.86 installed u--- LWSliboil (lws) 0.3.15-0.86 installed u--- LWSmplayer (lws) 1.0-0.86 installed ---- LWSqt4 (lws) 4.4.0-0.86 installed u--- LWStaglib (lws) 1.5-0.86 installed u--- LWSvlc (lws) 0.9.3-0.86 installed u--- LWSxvidcore (lws) 1.1.3-0.86 installed u--- I tried removing the lws authority but that didn't make any difference. The only think I can think of is to remove all my LWS packages do the image-update and read add them (at a cost of about 280 Mb of data over the network - while for me that is a non issue it is very significant for others). What more info can I give to help debug this ? -- Darren J Moffat _______________________________________________ pkg-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-discuss
