to answer my own question: I went ahead and gave it a try, but the outcome
looks very much the same. I checked the .pyc file, it was updated after I
changed the .py file.
Make sure you got it exactly correct -- "posix_spawnp"; I went round and
round with someone for an hour while they continually mis-typed the word
and not fixing the problem.
that's what I did :-(
I fixed the typo, now I'm already in update phase :-)
