8626 resync repository to snv_111b
8643 upgrading causes usr/sfw/man to disappear
Ric/Jerry, please feel free to review the whole webrev but I put the
Trusted files at the top of the webrev for easier reviewing.
David,
I reviewed the files related to trusted and they look
ok to me except for the
src/util/distro-import/111a/SUNWtsoldef.xml file.
This is the first time I think I've seen this file
and it doesn't seem right. It has a bunch of
inherited-pkg-dir entries in it, so thats not going
to work with a zone managed by IPS. Can you clarify
whats going on with this zone definition? Maybe I
just don't understand what is supposed to happen to
the labeled-branded zones after you image-update the
system and then try to update those branded zones.
Thanks,
Jerry
I believe from a previous dialogue that we've agreed for this 2009.06
release
that updating labeled zones will not be supported. Before the next release
a solution or substitute for sparse zones is needed -- I doubt that this
is a
concern only for TX.
David, the TX-related changes above look good. One question - txzonemgr
is not overridden, and I'd like to verify that the version fixed in
snv115 (bug
6827984) is picked up. Should I check the repo when available, or are there
other ways to verify?
-Ric
