What do you mean by "x86 binaries", which *specific* x86 binaries are
you talking about.
What's the contents /var/pkg/cfg_cache ?

What do you mean by "x86 packages" ?
If you're running a build before 106, sunstudioexpress wasn't
published with the correct tags and will install an x86 version.
