I got the following outputs. I found out the space of my BE didn't change ( same as original BE) after pkg install ... It seems nothing got installed.

So, the amount of space likely won't show up as changing because the entire package is just one that 'constrains' your system.

As long as 'pkg info' shows the expected, you can be confident it worked.

Hi Shawn,

It seems the entire cluster is the old one we installed back to May 18 ... is it right ?

-S

-bash-3.2# pkg info [email protected],5.11-0.111
         Name: entire
      Summary: entire incorporation
        State: Installed
    Publisher: opensolaris.org
      Version: 0.5.11
Build Release: 5.11
       Branch: 0.111
Packaging Date: Mon May 18 05:26:43 2009
         Size: 0.00 B
         FMRI: pkg:/[email protected],5.11-0.111:20090518T052643Z
-bash-3.2#

You have the correct version now, if you want to check, you can use this link:

http://pkg.opensolaris.org/release/manifest/0/[email protected],5.11-0.111:20090518T052643Z

You should now be able to install SUNWipkg and then image-update.

Cheers,
