No, and it is still being debated as to whether it is an option worth
pursuing. The search data takes a significant amount of memory
currently, so serving '/dev' and '/release' from the same process would
be inadvisable (a single process could easily exceed 1GB+). Although
the primary point of concern at the moment is the complication of the
configuration interface for the depot server.
It will be quite some time before resources are available for this work
and I'm not certain that it will be pursued yet due to advances in our
transport subsystem that have reduced our need for it.
