This is already ACCEPTED :) > I also tightened the build-dependency of fso-usaged on libfsoframeworkd > to this new version (and newer). Now fso-usaged package builds. However, lintian says this: ...> lintian fso-usaged_0.9.0+git20090818-1_i386.changes W: fso-usaged: binary-without-manpage usr/bin/fsousaged W: fso-usaged: non-dev-pkg-with-shlib-symlink usr/lib/libfsousage.so.0.0.0 usr/lib/libfsousage.so W: fso-usaged: package-name-doesnt-match-sonames libfsousage0 I'm uncomformatable with uploading package with the later two. AFAIU, there is a .so library (usr/lib/libfsousage.so.0.0.0) that is intended only by fsousaged binary. From one side, shared library and binary that uses it should not be placed into the same package - that's policy, sec 8.2 From other side, having a separate binary packages for several-kilobyte library, libdev and binary look like unneeded overkill. Could you please think out how to handle this? Perhaps ask debian-devel@ (pkg-fso-maint CCed), or look for similar cases? I'm a bit busy and can't do that myself now. Nikita
