Jérémy Lal was active in gettin Nodejs into Debian. I helped out a bit.
Mid 2010 Jérémy was [concerned] that the "node" executable conflicted
with another package, but early 2011 I treated it as a [harmless] issue
and thought I treated it cleverly.

I was [wrong] - it became a [major] issue with the technical committee
[ruling] that my clever move be [reverted]. That ruling took roughly a
month which made it [too late] for Wheezy.

First Debian release with Node.js was Jessie, 3 years later.
