Absolutely baffling that it is allowed for stuff like this to be removed without anyone considering the ramifications for the users... what is software without usefulness to its users?
Anyway maybe the solution to this is an AppImage? Compile a binary with all dependent libs in the same folder and run the script. Run it directly regardless of what dist anyone is using. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Debian Perl Group, which is subscribed to libgoo-canvas-perl in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1765726 Title: Optional dependencies are missing for Shutter in Ubuntu 18.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/shutter/+bug/1765726/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~pkg-perl-maintainers Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~pkg-perl-maintainers More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
