I fully agree and feel with you Jonathan. I hope you know there are lots and lots of people out there that are very appreciative of the work that you and other maintainers do. You might not see or hear them because a happy user is usually a silent user while unhappy users audibly vent their opinion. However they are still there.
Anyways: Shouldn't this bug report be closed? Shutter is unmaintained software and the libraries are also deprecated.
