Yes. The xlib one produced [EMAIL PROTECTED] (vertical lines), and the others 
produce the failure mode.

Sourceforge SVN seems to be playing up; I may try it later.

How did you pick one rendering engine over another, by the way? I ended
up going with OpenSceneGraph for the demo I had to do, partly because
it's packaged in Debian.
