About the segmentation fault:
When I replace in (server/rendering/OgreAdaptor.cc:126):
this->window = this->root->initialise(false);
with
this->window = this->root->initialise(true);
gazebo kinda works, it opens an extra window and seems to work, but as soon
as I click/move the window it doesn't respond anymore.
I'm so close! :)
