Hi everyone,
I have a problem to rotate a robot for desired angle in Gazebo with
position2d proxy.
For example when I issue a command for robot to turn for 90 degrees it turns
at most up to 75 degrees and it thinks that is pointing in the right
direction.
I saw that some other people had the same issue with Pioneer2AT and they
fixed it by using Pioneer2DX however for me that is not the case (Yes I get
better results with Pioneer2DX (it turns 75 from 90 and around 160 for 180
turns) compared to Pioneer2AT (which is more like 60 from 90 and 120 from
180)
I also try turning with vfh by calling GoTo(0,0, TURN_ANGLE) and I get the
same result.
So how can I fix this problem? Or any other suggestion how to rotate the
robot in the right direction by passing the angle of turn?
I am using Gazebo 0.7 and Player 2.0.3
Thank you!
Rasko
