Uh oh, I just thought of something. VNC would only be useful once the guest operating system has booted. In *nix this won't be a problem because X Windows is loaded after the boot process. In Windows this will be a problem because it goes into graphics mode when it is loading. I also don't think we could get VNC to load before the login either. So this means there will have to be a minimal amount of virutalized video support in Plex86 to get us past login for Windows. Here is another idea though... We could fake the display. That is, we grab the logow.sys file off the Windows partition, display it on the host and do the little palette rotation loading sequence. This would require that the user has told us the guest is Windows. When it hits the login screen I think we're screwed. This is a tough one, I don't know.
