OK, good arguments from Ramon, Josh, Colin, and others. As the monitor will have to communicate graphics protocol to/from the host space, we have to define formats for this data. We need some kind of interface spec. Given SDL has invented this wheel, than why not use (mirror) their spec? We have to encapsulate protocol anyways right? Which would make this a moot issue, because the door would still be open to hook this SDL protocol and do whatever with it. -Kevin -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Kevin Lawton [EMAIL PROTECTED] MandrakeSoft, Inc.
