Humm, I was getting this until I enabled CDROM emulation and
added the cdrom directive in the conf file, even though I
was using a hard disk image file already installed.

I believe NT will only recognize the (legacy IDE) hard disk if you
have a CDROM enabled.

Perhaps you need to do 'make dist-clean; ./configure; make'.
