IMHO, we should follow nvidia README.
>>- enable hardware acceleration of the RENDER extension
Nvidia readme say:
Option "RenderAccel" "boolean"

Enable or disable hardware acceleration of the RENDER extension. THIS
OPTION IS EXPERIMENTAL. ENABLE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Conclusion: Leave as default ( no xorg.conf change ).

>>- enable GLX even when the Composite X extension is loaded
Option "AllowGLXWithComposite" "boolean"

Enables GLX even when the Composite X extension is loaded. ENABLE AT
YOUR OWN RISK. OpenGL applications will not display correctly in many
    circumstances with this setting enabled.

Conclusion: Leave as default ( no xorg.conf change ).

I really don't see the point to change xorg.conf in any other way than driver
installation. Plf only distribute software who cannot be in mandriva contrib.
It's not the place to do the "hype-optimisation and tweaking".
