Sorry if I was misleading, but I think that what I said still holds in general. If Ubuntu is going to distribute j2sdk on PLF servers, I don't see why it wouldn't be provided for other (i.e., RPM-based) distros. It seems to me that a decision such as this should be (have been) based on a project policy, not a distro policy.
