Well, so far there is not much global PLF project policy, each
subproject/section is quite independant in its decisions. And even for
mandriva part, the current policy is "do what you want, provided it
doesn't enfringe law (at least without valid reason), and provided it is
technically correct".

Rather than assuming we are supposed to follow common rules, we'd rather
have to see first if we need such rules, and discuss this with all
concerned people. I'm not sure ubuntu people follow this list, for instance.
