Hi Götz, thanks for your answer

Götz Waschk a écrit :
what package are you using? I have checked, both
mplayer-1.0-1.rc2.18.2plf2009.0.i586.rpm and
mplayer-1.0-1.rc2.23.r28387.1plf2009.0.i586.rpm depend on lirc, so I
guess they have lirc enabled. I cannot test this myself though.
I'm using mplayer-1.0-1.rc2.18.2plf2009.0.

But mplayer doesn't output any lirc-related messages when launched from the command line (sample provided below), which seems to indicate that lirc support hasn't been compiled (if I recall correctly from previous versions).

Anyone experiencing the same problem? Or can anyone confirm that Lirc is working / not working with this same package?

Thanks in advance for your input,

Alex
