I suggest everyone who has made significant contributions since 5.8.0
(released in February 2008) should make sure their contribution is mentioned
in README.release.

Having just reviewed that file for myself, I think users of the forthcoming
5.9.1 release will be most impressed with how much we have all done in the
last 9 months.
