I have so far not seen any such problems on Windows - but I look
at the Tcl bindings mostly. I have not been able to follow the discussion
properly, but I would like to suggest the following:
- Enable Tcl by default
- Disable Tk by default
- Disable Itcl and Itk by default

The problems seem to arise with Tk, plserver and the use of Itcl/Itk.
(Itcl/Itk uses the internals of Tcl and Tk and these may change from
one release to the next, hence the incompatibility with Tcl 8.5.)

I will definitely have a look at the bindings, as I am interested in Tcl/Tk.
But I can't do anything do much between now and Sunday.

Regards,

Arjen
