Werner, would you be willing to do the same for Lua? I cannot finish those because I don't know how to handle swig conversion of const char** arguments in either language. My next step is to make a standard example 33 (first in the Python language but then to be propagated to all other languages) that will exercise many different pllegend capabilities.
