Wrong again.... :-) Revision 11318 changed the pllegend API again (and also changed the Python bindings and C and Python examples accordingly). The motivation for that change is I would like to demonstrate multiple legends aligned with each other for example 33, and for such alignment you need to make the legend_width and legend_height calculated by pllegend accessible to the calling routine. I urge developers and users here to test pllegend capabilities immediately by modifying the Python (especially example 33) or C examples. That "immediately" is because we want to finalize the pllegend API as early as possible in this release cycle. I am actually pretty sure that API is finalized now, but we might be blindsided by additional needs late in this release cycle or even in the next release cycle unless you all immediately do some inventive testing and/or thinking about how pllegend will be used in the future.
